Taking place July 19–23 in Los Angeles, SIGGRAPH is the industry's premier conference and exhibition for computer graphics, interactive techniques, and emerging technologies.

LOFTAPPS CEO Gary Mundell and CTO Remko Noteboom will be joined by Academy Award-winning visual effects pioneer and filmmaker Phil Tippett (Jurassic Park, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, Starship Troopers, The Mandalorian and Grogu) to discuss their collaboration on the making of Sentinel. The film, currently in development, is Tippett's first project to adopt an AI-first production workflow.

Set within a surreal alternate universe inside a soldier's mind during World War I, Sentinel reflects Tippett's signature stop-motion visual storytelling in a creative process where ideas evolve through exploration and experimentation. The discussion will explore how story and collaboration continue to drive the filmmaking process and demonstrate how the LOFTai platform supports the management of assets, provenance, production resources, and AI-generated content while preserving Tippett's creative intent as the film takes shape. The session will further examine how AI-first production workflows can reduce production complexity and improve collaboration across the filmmaking process.
