Production Infrastructure Built for Studio-Scale Generative AI Workflows, Now Demonstrated to European Audiences

Exclusive Film Sneak Peek of Phil Tippett’s “Mad God” Sequel, Powered by LOFT, Featured at VIEW

BERKELEY, Calif. – October 2, 2026 – LOFTAPPS, developer of production infrastructure software for the AI era, today announced its participation at the VIEW Conference, taking place October 12–16 in Torino, Italy. VIEW Conference is a world-class international event bringing together leaders across animation, visual effects, games, and AI to explore the future of storytelling and immersive media.

LOFTAPPS’ Co-Founder and CEO Gary Mundell and CTO Remko Noteboom will speak on two panels during the conference focused on the practical challenges and opportunities of AI-driven film production and emerging industry dynamics. Academy Award-winning visual effects pioneer and filmmaker Phil Tippett (“Jurassic Park,” “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi,” “Starship Troopers,” “RoboCop,” “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” “Mad God”) will join the second session remotely. VIEW Conference attendees will also have an exclusive opportunity to see a sneak peek of the sequel to Tippett’s film, “Mad God,” currently in production.

LOFT – OS for AI Production

Earlier this year, LOFTAPPS introduced LOFT, the OS for AI-generated workflows. LOFT provides a seamless orchestration layer in a single system. Offering an integrated production environment, LOFT manages assets, creative intent, prompts, provenance, review, and production resources across complex pipelines and multiple AI models for structured, executable workflows with professional grade capabilities at scale.

As the industry moves beyond traditional DCC dependence, the main challenge facing production is no longer simply generating an AI image or video but preserving what was generated, how it was generated, why it was generated, what it cost, which version was approved, and how it entered the final work.

“We developed LOFT as an AI-first solution for production, while supporting hybrid workflows that connect generation to the durable production structure needed to turn model outputs into managed, reviewable, and accountable assets,” says Mundell. “Its value is a connected production process that fundamentally changes how production work is generated, multiplied and managed.”

LOFT will make its European debut at VIEW Conference.

Panel: The State of VFX: Navigating a Changing Market

Date: Wednesday, October 14

Time: 12:45–13:45 CET

Room: Mezzanino (in person)

Location: OGR – Corso Castelfidardo, 22 – Torino

Mundell joins CEOs and senior executives from across the VFX industry to discuss the realities of running and growing a VFX business today. Shifting production volumes, cost pressures, consolidation, global competition, and the uncertainty forcing companies to rethink how they operate. Moderated by Heiko Burkardsmaier, VFX Executive Producer and Head of Business/Legal Affairs at Accenture Song VFX.

Panel: The Hybrid Trap: Why AI-Native Production Matters

Date: Thursday, October 15

Time: 16:30–17:30 CET

Room: Fucine (in person)

Location: OGR Torino, Corso Castelfidardo, 22 – Torino

Mundell and Noteboom, joined by Tippett, will explore why today’s hybrid approach to AI production may be solving the wrong problem. The panel examines where production’s real cost lives: not inside individual departments, but between them: communication, file management, versioning, review cycles, and the translation of creative intent. Speeding up a single stage rarely reduces the overall production time, because the bottleneck was never that stage.

Drawing on LOFTAPPS’ production collaboration with Tippett, panelists will share behind-the-scenes content from real-world AI-supported film projects that demonstrate the director’s handmade visual style and the benefits of an integrated production pipeline. The panelists will make the case for rebuilding with AI assumed from the start, and creative intent flowing through agentic orchestration, across assets, decisions, and workflows.
